1. Scope of Work & Code Compliance

NC Foam Pros warrants that all code-regulated installations, including but not limited to:

• Spray foam insulation
• Fiberglass insulation
• Blown-in and dense-pack insulation
• Crawlspace encapsulation systems
• Crawlspace vapor barrier and moisture control solutions

are installed in a professional manner and in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal building codes in effect at the time of installation, based on the approved scope of work.

Epoxy floor coatings are excluded from building code compliance requirements, as there are currently no applicable building code standards governing epoxy flooring installations. Epoxy floors are installed per manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.

2. One (1) Year Limited Workmanship Warranty

NC Foam Pros provides a One (1) Year Limited Workmanship Warranty covering defects in craftsmanship directly related to installation services performed by NC Foam Pros for:

• Spray foam insulation
• Fiberglass insulation
• Blown-in and dense-pack insulation
• Crawlspace encapsulation and vapor barrier systems
• Epoxy floor coatings

If a valid workmanship defect is identified within one (1) year from completion, NC Foam Pros will, at its discretion, repair or replace the affected area at no cost to the original purchaser.

3. Manufacturer Product Warranty – Fifteen (15) Years

Insulation and encapsulation materials installed by NC Foam Pros are covered under a manufacturer’s limited product warranty of up to Fifteen (15) Years, subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.

NC Foam Pros does not manufacture these products and does not extend, modify, or replace manufacturer warranties. All manufacturer warranty claims are governed solely by the manufacturer.

Epoxy floor coatings may carry separate manufacturer warranties depending on the product used and are governed solely by the manufacturer’s published warranty terms.

4. Non-Transferability

All warranties provided by NC Foam Pros are strictly non-transferable and apply only to the original purchaser listed on the contract or invoice. Coverage automatically terminates upon sale, transfer, or change of property ownership.

5. Third-Party Contractor & Alteration Clause

Any evaluation, penetration, modification, repair, or alteration of NC Foam Pros’ installed materials or systems by any contractor or individual not expressly authorized in writing by NC Foam Pros shall immediately void all warranties, including any extended coverage.

This includes, but is not limited to electricians, plumbers, HVAC contractors, framers, general contractors, and service technicians.

6. Normal Use Requirement

Warranty coverage applies only under normal residential or commercial use conditions. Coverage is void if materials or systems are misused, abused, neglected, improperly maintained, or exposed to conditions outside their intended application.

7. Exclusions & Limitations

This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

• Fire, smoke, or excessive heat
• Flooding, standing water, water intrusion, or plumbing failures
• Natural disasters or acts of God
• Structural movement, settlement, or foundation failure
• Rodents, insects, or animals
• Mold or biological growth not directly caused by improper installation
• Chemical exposure or environmental contamination
• Pre-existing conditions not disclosed prior to installation

8. Limitation of Liability

NC Foam Pros’ total liability under any warranty or extended coverage is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of the affected installed materials or systems. NC Foam Pros shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages.

9. Governing Law

This warranty shall be governed and interpreted under the laws of the State in which the project was performed.

10. Warranty Claim Procedure

To submit a claim, the original purchaser must:

1. Provide written notice within the applicable warranty period
2. Allow reasonable access for inspection by NC Foam Pros
3. Provide proof of original installation by NC Foam Pros

11. Optional Extended Product & Workmanship Warranty (NC Foam Pros)

NC Foam Pros offers an Optional Extended Product & Workmanship Warranty Subscription that provides continued coverage after the expiration of the manufacturer’s Fifteen (15) Year product warranty.

• Cost: $749 per year
• Coverage: Covers both installed product performance and workmanship, subject to all terms, exclusions, and limitations in this document
• Provider: Administered solely by NC Foam Pros
• Eligibility Window: Must be purchased within twelve (12) months of the original installation date
• Term: Coverage remains active only while the annual subscription is paid and in good standing
• Termination: Coverage terminates immediately upon non-payment, cancellation, property transfer, or unauthorized third-party alterations

This extended warranty does not reinstate or replace expired manufacturer warranties and does not cover excluded events listed in Section 7.
